Web Design
Whether your web site has 1 page or 100, we charge the same starting fee of £350. We do this as we consider it unfair to restrict you to a page limit - as many other web designers do. As well as giving you freedom, every web site we built follows the standards set out by W3C (the people who boss the internet) so that it will comply to all different browser types. And because we take time and care to do this the code is much friendlier for search engines.
This price assumes that you already have all your images and words for the web site, but if not we will help you sort this out. Happy Hound will then design your web site and then develop it for the web. As we want your web site to look the best it possibly can we will add basic scripts and special code (where relevant) to give the people who view your web site the best experience possible.

Hosting
Once your web site is built it needs to be saved somewhere on the web so people can view it. To do this you can either arrange your own hosting, or we will host it for you on our web space. This is paid for annually and you have four packages to choose from. Don't worry if you don't understand the jargon as we will advice you on what is best for you.

Domains
A Domain name is how people find your web site, it's the address you type in to get to a web site. Like hosting you can be free to get this on your own, but it's often better if we get this for you so we can ensure it will find your web site properly.
Price: £10 per year
Search Engine Optimisation
Search engine optimsation (or SEO) is the current buzz word of web design. It's what ensures you finish higher than your rivals in search engine results. As mentioned earlier, all our sites are built ready for search engines, and we will submit your web site to Google, Yahoo and Bing (the main three) for free. But this is no guarantee of success. If your web site requires good search results then we can optimise your site using the tricks of the trade and being the nice guys that we are we don't ask for any payment on this until it shows results. You may see other web designers promising you number 1 spot on Google, well this is impossible to promise - unless you pay for it or cheat, and cheaters always get found out!
We will do everything we can to get you to a position we are both happy with, and at that point (usually at least 3 months) we ask for an extra £200 for our efforts. Then, if you wish us to keep you there we would ask for £30 a month (or £300 for the year) to continuously monitor your position and your competition. We will also provide you with monthly statistics of how your web site is progressing.

Graphic Design & Branding
If you are a new company, or you are fed up of your old and dated logo we can start you a fresh. This process all starts with a brainstorm of what your business or web site aims to acheive and we throw some keywords at it. Then with a colour scheme selected we can produce a new logo, and all the necessary images and graphics for your web site and business. This starts from £150 increasing depending on the complexity of the design. And don't forget our printing service.

E-Commerce
If you want to sell things through your web site then you are going to need e-commerce. E-commerce is the combined name for the powerful database that stores all your products, customers and orders, the system that handles payments, and the added security that is required. If you require e-commerce then we charge an extra £600 to build your database, add the products, the extra security and the integration into the existing web site. This may sound like a lot, but shop around, it's actually pretty cheap - and we do the work, not you, unlike many other web designers
Please also be aware that extra charges will be incurred to a company known as a payment gateway. This is the company who handle the transfer of money from the customers account to yours. These charges are usually a small amount (say 27p) per transaction, or a percentage of your monthly turnover (usually less than 5%).

Content Management
If your web site needs updating on a regular basis, or if it requires calculations and complicated changes - or even if you just don't have a clue how to work a web site, then you need our content management system. This is basically a section of your web site that only you can access (through a special link and a password). Once logged in you will have all the tasks required to update your web site quickly and efficiently.
Price: £350 (with 3 tasks - £50 each additional task)
Site Maintenance
If the content management system sounds too much for you we will happily keep your web site up-to-date for you by updating your most recent offers, deals, pictures or news. We charge £100 for a monthly update, or £1000 for the year and we will be at your service whenever you need us.

Still not got everything you want? We can add various dynamic features to your web site such as picture galleries, forums, blogs, guestbooks, contact forms, mailing lists, hit counters, polls, slideshows, and more for as little as £50.
